Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler)
The Scheduler works with the Project Team to create and update schedules on a weekly basis. The Scheduler will develop monthly reports for long range project goals and provide analysis and proactive suggestions for improving project delivery.
Essential Functions:
- Develops conceptual and detailed engineering and construction schedules.
- Reviews and updates schedules, and reports progress and costs on a periodic basis, including preparing cash flow, maintaining a trending system, and forecasting cost to complete.
- Prepares alternative project schedules, work plans and provides analysis to assist Project Team in developing detailed "look ahead" and “what-if” schedule.
- Prepares reports as needed and directed by Management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent, BS preferred
- 5+ years scheduling experience using Primavera 6.0 or current releases and Microsoft Project experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Analytical, negotiating and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

- May require occasional overnight travel to another client location/facility or the home office.
- Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply.
- When working outside Middough’s office, appropriate safety training and safety equipment will be provided by Middough and/or Client, as required.
