Middough Welcomes Sam Barnes, PE, as President and CEO

CLEVELAND, Ohio (October 23, 2023) — Middough Inc. is proud to announce and welcome Samuel R. Barnes, PE as its new President and CEO.  As part of this organizational change, Ron Ledin, PE will become Middough’s Executive Chairman, and Carl Wendell will become Executive Vice President and COO.

In his new role, Sam will provide leadership working with Middough’s executive team and have responsibility for the functional and financial performance of the company.  He will also be responsible for executing the company’s business strategy as well as its cultural, safety, quality, and talent initiatives.

Sam earned his BSME and MBA from the University of Michigan and is a registered professional engineer in multiple states.   As a professional mechanical engineer, Sam brings more than 30 years of experience in the power industry with large and small EPC/EPCM firms.  He has held various executive-level positions including executive officer and chief operating officer with responsibility for projects and engineering.
