Grelewicz is one of five industry experts participating in the session UAS – What Are Drones Good For. His presentation titled Project and Safety Efficiencies utilizing Unmanned Aircraft Systems for Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution will kick off the session on October 19. The topic covers the regulations of using Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), types of UAS, its benefits including reducing risk exposure, efficiency and accuracy of data collection, as well as project applications and use cases for power generation, transmission and distribution.
Grelewicz is a Senior Discipline Manager in Middough’s Inspection Services Department for and is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certified Remote Pilot and Private Aircraft Pilot. As an accomplished technical program and project management professional, Grelewicz has a proven record of success supporting industries including gas and electric transmission and distribution, coal-fired power plants, infrastructure, metals, chemicals and downstream oil.
